We’re excited to announce a major update to the iLivestock app: farmers in Great Britain can now connect directly to BCMS-CTS, the UK’s national cattle database.
That means you can now:
This is a big step forward in making compliance and cattle record-keeping quicker, easier, and more accurate for farmers across the country.
BCMS (British Cattle Movement Service) manages the Cattle Tracing System (CTS) — a national database that tracks births, movements, and deaths of all cattle in Great Britain. This system is essential for food safety, traceability, and regulatory compliance.
With this new app integration, iLivestock users can handle their national records without having to leave the app.
“It’s another step in our mission to take the stress out of livestock management,” says Ewen Wardman, CEO & Co-Founder of iLivestock. “We're helping farmers keep records accurate, compliant, and in one place.”
